Is Smith still OSU bound

East Cleveland (Ohio) Shaw linebacker Reggie Smith was expected to be an Ohio State commitment by now. What's the holdup?
"I still need to get my score to qualify," said the 6-foot-2, 236-pounder. "Ohio State told me if I get it, then they can take a commitment from me. In the meantime, I've decided to look around and keep my options open. I know my slot at OSU could be taken tomorrow, so it makes no sense to put all my hopes there."

Smith has already visited Boston College, West Virginia and just took a visit to see the Buckeyes this past weekend. He has one more trip left -- to Virginia this weekend.
"I'll probably enjoy Christmas and then decide right after that," he said. "All four of my top teams have a chance. I won't lie to you, Ohio State is my top choice and I'll probably end up there if it all works out, but I really liked the players and atmosphere at BC, I get along great with my recruiting coach at West Virginia and, before OSU offered me, Virginia was my favorite. It won't be as easy as people think."
