Is Schultz ready to commit

Beaver Dam, Wis., defensive end Eric Schultz is intent on having a fine senior season. And he knows recruiters are watching.
"Indiana has called," Schultz said. "Northwestern has called. Iowa State of course. And I've gone to both Wisconsin's games so I talked to their coaches there."

Asked how he liked the two Badger games he attended, Schultz said, "I've been there before so I knew what it's like. But going through the locker room and all, that was a good experience."
"I'm keeping my options open. Iowa State is my only offer so far. Northwestern, Indiana, and UW are talking to me pretty heavily. They're all solid programs."
"I'm going to Iowa State's game against Northern Illinois this weekend."
Asked if he might commit to the Cyclones while at the game, Schultz said, "My parents want me to keep my options open so I'll probably wait till after the season to make a decision. I'd like to get down to Indiana and Northwestern for games."
The 6-foot-5 and 225 pound Schultz made 41 tackles including 15 behind the line during his junior season. Schultz was an all-conference selection and also played tight end. He caught just six passes, but was a standout blocker in a run dominated offense.
During the first three games of his senior season Schultz has two sacks, five tackles for losses, and two receptions.
