Is Sam Still Committed
Buford, Ga. wide receiver/athlete Lorne Sam committed to Florida State over three months ago. So after his Virginia Tech visit this past weekend, is he still committed?
“I am,” said the 6-foot-3, 180-pounder. “But I’m also thinking about Virginia Tech. I really liked my visit there and I’m debating between the two of them. I’m taking it week by week right now.”

Sam is being recruited by Virginia Tech as a quarterback while Florida State wants him as a wide receiver.
“I prefer quarterback and the coaches at Virginia Tech said I could come in and compete for the starting job as a true freshman or redshirt freshman,” he said. “That’s exciting but so is playing for Florida State with my brother and all those awesome athletes. This has become tough.”
Sam has no timetable to make his final decision.
