Is Rutherford thinking in-state
Indianapolis (Ind.) Tri-West wide receiver Chris Rutherford has experienced almost nothing but succes over the past two football seasons. As a sophomore Rutherford played on a 14-1 state championship team, and as a junior he put up big numbers on a 15-0 state championship team.
The 6-foot-3 and 185 pound Rutherford caught 59 passes for 1204 yards last season. He averaged 20.4 yards per catch and scored 13 times as Tri-West went undefeated.

"He's starting to get a lot of looks from schools," coach Dave Clark said. "He went to Indiana Tuesday. Purdue is sending mail.
"Toledo is another one. A lot of MAC schools are showing interest. Akron and Ball State are two more.
"He was invited to Notre Dame April 23 for their spring game.
"I think he likes the Big Ten schools."
