Pflugerville, Texas athlete Grant Walker chose the Boilermakers after his November visit.
"We have heard nothing around here that would indicate otherwise," Pflugerville coach George Hermann said when asked if Walker had any other thoughts than heading to the Big 10 school. "He committed to them and everyone must be taking him for his word. It has been quiet around here on his front."
The 6-foot-1, 190-pound Walker chose Purdue over Air Force, Baylor, TCU, Rice and El Paso.

He will head to Purdue as a quarterback, but could end up playing any number of positions in college.
"He is going to get a shot at quarterback and they'll go from there after they see how that works."
