Irving, Texas offensive lineman Chris Hall made a change of verbal commitments from SMU to Oklahoma State in June, is recruiting over for him? Or are other schools making a push?
“I’ve gotten several calls,” the 6-foot-5, 285-pound Hall said. “I just tell them I appreciate their interest but I am solidly committed to Oklahoma State. I don’t even keep track of them, because it doesn’t mean anything to me.”
After a little thought, Hall recalled Florida, Iowa, Kansas State and SMU had called.
“Those, with the exception of Kansas State had offered me a scholarship,” he said. “I committed to Oklahoma State before K-State had a chance to offer me.”
On the season, Irving is 2-1.
“We only lost to Keller Fossil Ridge,” he said. “We are looking forward to districts. We play Grand Prairie this week. We should win. We just need to keep things going.”
