Is Peele getting close

It's been an interesting for Fresno (Calif.) Edison defensive back Robert Peele. The talented cover corner committed to his dream school after receiving a late scholarship offer, decided to take a few more trips anyway, had his offer pulled, and now will take one more trip before making a final decision.
Peele, 6-0, 180 pounds was recently named 1st team all-state after a big senior season. He was also one of the top cornerbacks for the Cali squad in the recent CaliFlorida Bowl and brings a little extra size and toughness to the position that few other corners in the West can match.

In early in the season, Peele said his dream school was USC and he would commit if the Trojans offered. The Trojans did indeed offer and Peele went ahead and committed but said he wanted to take a visit to Cal before making his decision final.
Following the visit to Cal, Peele said the Bears were his new leader and USC then decided to go in a different direction.
"Yeah, they basically stopped recruiting me after I visited Cal," Peele said. "It was kind of weird because they gave me the OK to take the visit but I guess they were a little disappointed or something. It's all good though, Cal is really where I'm leaning and the school I've been feeling for awhile now.
"I'm just really comfortable at Cal and I know so many people there. I like the coaching staff and they're building something very special. I'm going to take one last visit to Arizona this weekend and then I'll probably make my decision. I still have a trip set to UCLA for (Jan. 21) but I think this might be the last visit I take. Arizona is going to have to show me a lot to beat out Cal though."
