Is Notre Dame pledge sticking

Chicago St. Patrick's defensive end Dan Santucci said he committed to Notre Dame for more than the head coach.
So it's no surprise that he said he's probably going to stick with his commitment - no matter who the coach ends up being.

"I'm still pretty firm," Santucci, who is 6-foot-4 and 245 pounds, said.
"I'm about 99 percent sure. It's always been a dream of mine to play for Notre Dame, and I don't want that dream to end."
Santucci said he does have one request for the new staff when it does arrive - keep coach Mattison.
"He's become a good friend because he's so honest," Santucci said. "He kept me informed and called me and told me that Notre Dame still wants me - no matter who the coach is. I think the new staff should keep him."
Santucci said Nebraska did call him late last week to see if he would be interested in looking around, but Santucci told the Huskers he's sticking with the Irish.
