Is NJs Martinez committed

Rumor has surfaced that two-star defensive end Randy Martinez out of Teaneck, N.J. may have committed to Rutgers. Rivals caught up with the 6-foot-0, 231-pounder's head coach Dennis Heck to find out exactly what is going on with his star prospect.
"He's very close to making a decision," he said. "It's going to be between Rutgers, Duke, Cincinnati and Syracuse. I'm not sure if Syracuse has offered or how close they are. I do know he is planning to visit Cincinnati on October 22nd and I believe that will be an official visit. At this time, I don't think anyone leads and he is wide open."

On the season, Martinez has played well.
"His performance on the field has been outstanding," he said. "He's a captain and plays hard every down. He goes to the whistle and is very physical. I can definitely see an improvement in his quickness and of course his experience plays a big part into him being better."
According to Heck, the No. 12 prospect in the Garden State is averaging over 10 tackles a game and has compiled five sacks.
