Is Messner next for Oklahoma
Chris Messner of Frederick like most small town Oklahomans grew up a faithful follower of the Sooners. Now, that he is having to choose the school for the next four years of his life, has his opinion changed?
"I am going down to OU for the Kansas State game this weekend," Messner, who is being recruited as an offensive tackle by Oklahoma and defensive end by other teams, said.

"Coach Gundy called this week and said coach Stoops and coach Mangino want to talk to me and just say hello. I'm really psyched about that idea."
There is talk that conversation with coach Stoops and Mangino might include a scholarship offer.
"If they were to offer I don't know how I could say no," he said. "I have always been an Oklahoma fan. I would talk it over with my parents first, but I think I would accept pretty quickly."
Messner said in this month he has heard from Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and Army.
