Is MAC calling Meade

Elkhart (Ind.) Concord wide receiver Mike Meade was an all-confernce selection both his sophomore and junior seasons. He also was named to the coaches all-state team his junior year.
The 6-foot-4 and 185-pound Meade has the size recruiters like to see, and deceptive speed according to his coach.

"He's a tall, lanky kid with deceiving speed," Concord coach Tim Dawson said. "You don't expect him to run by defensive backs, then he does."
In addition to wide receiver, Meade also plays a little safety and returns punts and kickoffs.
But Meade will be a wide receiver in college.
"He's being recruited by mostly the MAC schools," Dawson said. "Ball State, Ohio University, Central Michigan, Western Michigan, and Illinois State was in on Thursday."
Meade has an interest in the MAC, but he wants to look at the Big Ten too.
"He visited Indiana and Purdue," Dawson said. "And he visited Louisville.
"I think he would like to play big-time football, whether it be the Big Ten or MAC. And he likes Louisville."
