Is JC star headed to the Big Ten

"I got back from Michigan State this afternoon," El Dorado (Kan.) Butler Community College defensive end Justin Tomerlin said. "It went extremely well. I'd rate it a '10' for sure.
"Drew Stanton was my host. He has two more years. I could play tight end. They have a position open at both tight end and defensive end.

"I think I'd start out at tight end, but I could switch back to defensive end if I went there.
"I visit Florida State next weekend and UCLA Jan. 21. I'll probably make a midweek visit to Kansas State.
"Then if I take a fifth visit it could be to Miami, Georgia, Cal, Louisville, and USC offered a trip, but not a scholarship yet.
"Michigan State, Kansas State, UCLA, Georgia, Cal, and Louisville have offered a scholarship.
"After the Michigan State trip I would say they are definitely at the top of my list."
The 6-foot-6 and 265 pound Tomerlin, a four star prospect in the Rivals.com player rankings, registered 15 sacks this season, leading the league.
