Is he committed or isnt he

Is he or isn’t he, that is the question. The word on the street is that last weeks verbal commitment to ASU is now committed to USC.
There is no question that Donte Nicholson (6-2, 210, 4.4) from Mt. SAC is one of the most sought JC players. The question is where will spend his college career?

It was less than a week that Nicholson told Rivals100 that he was solidly in the ASU camp. When you possess the talent level that Nicholson has you can’t think that other schools will stop recruiting him just because he makes a commitment.
Verbal commitments in this game are about as sturdy as the paper they are written on.
Well it has been confirmed that Nicholson was on his trip to USC after all this past weekend. The word on the street is – he committed to the Trojans.
Rivals100 hasn’t been able to get a confirmation on if Nicholson committed or not but the word is that the snafu that was holding Nicholson up has been removed and he will be able to enter USC in time to participate in spring ball.
Nicholson has canceled his visits to Missouri and Oregon. USC was supposed to be on that list but the Trojans received a reprieve.
Ruth Robbins of RealDawg.com did get a hold of Nicholson last night and this what he told Ruth, "I just visited USC because it's close. I wouldn't say I committed, I told them I like it there."
"It was only a verbal commitment", he said in regards to his Arizona State commit, "Nothing really is definite until I sign a letter".
There was another rumor going around that Nicholson may be visiting Washington today. As soon as we get a confirmation on this development Rivals100 will report on the development as we learn more.
Washington was the school that Nicholson committed to when he was out of high school
In an earlier interview with Mt. SAC head coach Bill Fisk he had this to say about his star defensive back. “We play him at safety but he can play corner. Donte is that good of a player. Nicholson is a great hitter with a high football IQ.”
Nicholson graduates in December and will be able to participate in spring ball. Nicholson also has 3x2 eligibility.
