Is he a Vol or not
Is he committed or isn’t he committed? Vols, Cocks or Tar Heels? Those are same questions that Union, S.C., offensive lineman Eric Young has spent the past week answering. Or better yet, trying to answer.
“I guess you can say that I’m a soft commitment to Tennessee,” Young, a four-star selection, said. “I mean, I gave coach Fulmer my word that I’m coming, and I’ve always thought I was a man of my word. But South Carolina and North Carolina are making it hard on me. I really like them, too.”

Young visited UNC this weekend and came back impressed with the facilities and the academics that the Heels have to offer. But he now has to decide it it’s a place that’s better than Tennessee or South Carolina for.
“I might not know for sure until I put my name on the paper,” Young said. “I’m going to sign at 11:30 on Wednesday.”
