Is Hamilton on the verge of more offers

It's been almost two months since Rivals last heard from Clifton (Va.) Centreville cornerback Darryl Hamilton. The 5-foot-9, 183-pounder has been holding an offer from Virginia for awhile and claims at least a few other schools are still considering offering.
"Right now Virginia is my only offer," he said. "North Carolina is going to get back to me soon about whether they can offer me. They seem highly interested in me and I met with their coaches not too long ago.

"I've been talking to a lot of other schools too, Wake Forest, Notre Dame, Maryland and Michigan. All of those schools just want highlight tape and then they'll get back to me."
With Virginia being the only offer, are the Cavaliers pushing for a pledge from the 5-foot-8, 178-pounder?
"Not as much as you'd think," he said. "They want me to go there, but they also want me to take my time.
"Right now I'm favoring Virginia the most, but I like North Carolina too since they are showing a lot of interest."
The two-star prospect confirmed he hasn't scheduled any officials, but plans to take some in January.
Hamilton posted 87 tackles, four interceptions, three blocked punts and two forced fumbles as a senior this season.
