Is Golden leaning back towards Arizona

Fresno (Calif.) Edison defensive back Robert Golden took his official visit to Arizona this past weekend. The talented corner was an early commitment to the Cats, then backed off a few weeks back. After his visit this past weekend, Golden is once again very high on the UA.
Golden, 5-11, 180 pounds has previously visited Oregon and Arizona State and after mulling over whether or not to visit Arizona, the athlete did indeed spend his weekend in Tucson.

"It was a great visit and I'm definitely glad I took the trip," Golden said. "I've been to Arizona before on an unofficial visit but this trip was a lot better because I got to spend more time with the players and see more of the campus and the city itself.
"The guys on the team are like a family and I asked them a lot of questions about how they liked it there. I talked to them about the school and the team and they were up front and honest with me and said this is where I needed to be. They love it there and they love playing for Coach Stoops and that meant a lot to me.
"Probably the biggest thing to come out of the visit was my meeting with the athletic director. As I've said a number of times, the only reason I ever backed off my commitment to Arizona was my concern that coach Stoops and the staff might not be there when I got there in the fall.
"The AD assured me that not only would Coach Stoops be there, he said they're working on an extension for him and still believe he's the guy to take the program to the next level. When I heard that, Arizona went back to the top of my list. I really like Coach Stoops and the staff a lot and even when I backed off my commitment, I still liked Arizona a lot. I just wanted to make sure Coach Stoops would be there and now that I know, they're my No. 1 choice.
"Right now, my final schools are Arizona, Oregon State and UCLA. I enjoyed my visits to Oregon and ASU but I just don't think either one are the right fit for me. With Oregon, I like them a lot but I'm just more comfortable at other places.
"As for ASU, I just don't think I'm on the same page with the coaches there. I loved that visit too but I really feel like I would be better off elsewhere. I was going to visit Oregon State this coming weekend but I had to postpone it because of family commitments. I'll probably take it once the season is over.
"With UCLA, I really like Coach Walker a lot and I've known him forever. I know there is a lot of talk about Coach Dorrell being on the hot seat but as long as Coach Walker is there, I'm very interested in them. I've even heard talk that Coach Walker could be the next head coach and if that was the case, UCLA would be way high on my list.
"Right now, I just want to focus back on our season because we're playing great and have a very good chance to win a section championship. Once our season is over, I'll look at taking my last visits and hopefully be able to make my final decision at the Army All-American game."
