Is four-star WR wavering

The whole state of Utah is in a state of flux. All four major universities are Utah, Utah State, Weber State and BYU are looking for new head football coaches. With Utah coach Urban Meyer leaving the Utes for Florida and apparently Utah offensive coordinator Mike Sanford will be named UNLV’s new head coach. The high flying Ute program has had its share of hits lately. What does this mean to four-star wide receiver and Utah pledge Marquis Wilson (6-0, 163, 4.4) from Draper (Utah) Juan Diego Catholic?
“Marquis would have stayed if Utah offensive coordinator, Mike Sanford, was named to the job,” Juan Diego Catholic coach John Colosimo said. “He might open it up a bit.

“Marquis will be looking at Arizona,” Colosimo said. “He likes Arizona offensive coordinator Mike Canales.”
“Marquis likes the weather,” Colosimo said. “He also likes the idea of playing in the Pac-10.”
“Though Marquis was a Utah commit,” Colosimo said. “That didn’t stop colleges from recruiting him.”
“Marquis could still end up at Utah,” Colosimo said. “It depends on who they get as their coach.”
Utah was on the verge of having one of their best recruiting classes ever. First the loss of Josh Portis is huge and now Wilson is wavering.
Besides Utah and Arizona; Wilson was getting a lot of interest from Boise State, Notre Dame, Cal and BYU.
The recruitment for Wilson could end up getting very interesting as things settle down.
