Grant's visit to Ohio State might be his last official visit.
"I still have a visit scheduled the next weekend to Oregon," Grant said. "But as of right now Ohio State is No. 1. It could be even better depending on how this visit goes. There's a chance I could commit.
"But I'll probably come back and take a couple days and talk to my brother and my coach. My brother helps me make big decisions."
Asked why the Buckeyes top his list, Grant said, "Ohio State is linebacker U. And I'd have the chance to come in and play."
The 6-foot-2 and 220-pound Grant, a four star prospect, has graduated from City College of San Francisco. He made 85 tackles including six sacks this season for City College of S.F. Grant also intercepted six passes and blocked six punts. Grant played both inside and outside linebacker.
"If I go to Ohio State I would start school there spring quarter, in April," Grant said.
