Is ECU commit holding strong

Jacksonville (Fla.) Clay offensive tackle D.J. Scott is proof that Skip Holtz is building something at East Carolina. He is a solid offensive lineman who was receiving heavy interest from a number of schools and still is, but decided to commit to Pirates. The question is whether or not that commit is still firm?
"I am still getting calls and a lot of mail from other schools," Scott said. "North Carolina State, Charleston Southern and Air Force still call me and of course East Carolina does too. No other schools have offered, but they would if I took an official visit there."

The 6-foot-6, 280-pound Scott is getting extremely familiar with the Pirate program and don't expect him to bail on his commitment anytime soon.
"I am still very solid in my commitment," Scott said. "I have already been to two games up there, I went to the Duke and Southern Miss games. I liked the Duke game better because East Carolina won that one, but both games were a lot of fun. It is really nice up there and the games have a nice atmosphere."
DOn't even expect to take a peek at other schools by taking other official visits.
"The only visit I plan on taking is my visit to East Carolina," Scott said. "I will probably take it sometime in December, but I haven't set it yet. When the coaches call they just tell me to work hard in the classroom and get bigger, stronger and faster. They are going to send me their workout program soon."
