Is Doxey getting closer

The last time we talked with San Diego (Calif.) Hoover defensive back Todd Doxey, it was immediately following his official visit to Oregon. The athlete said he was close to committing but wanted to wait for the emotion of the visit to die down. Is he getting closer to pulling the trigger?
Doxey, 6-2, 175 pounds is an elite level talent and is having a very good season at both defensive back and receiver. He'll play on the defensive side of the ball in college but is talented enough to see action on both sides of the ball at the college level.

Doxey visited Oregon a few weeks ago and said he was blown away by the visit. In fact, Doxey said he was close to committing but wanted to wait a few weeks for the emotion to wear off before thinking things over.
"Oregon is definitely my top school and I did think a lot about committing," Doxey said. "I've decided to take one more visit though, just so I have something to compare Oregon with.
"I want to get the trip over with in the next few weeks so I'll be able to have my decision out of the way by Christmas. I have a trip set with Fresno State in December but I'm either going to try and move that up a few weeks or take a visit to one of the schools that is still recruiting me.
"I'm hearing a lot from Oregon State, Cal, Washington and Washington State. My plan is to just take one visit but if the next trip impresses me as much as the Orego one, I might have to take another. Still, as of right now, I'm only planning on taking one more and if the visit doesn't measure up to what I saw in Oregon, I'm going to go ahead and commit to the Ducks."
