Is DE still solid with commitment
Aurora (Colo.) Rangeview defensive end Maurice Lucas committed to Colorado in March. Now, is the three-star rated end having some second thoughts?
“I did take an unofficial visit this summer to Kansas State,” the 6-foot-5, 225-pound Lucas said. “It came after my commitment to Colorado. I do find Kansas State very interesting. And, I like Coach (Greg) Peterson. After visiting them, it seems like a very nice campus. Everyone is very nice.”

Has Lucas had a change of commitment status after his visit this summer?
“I am still committed to Colorado,” he said. “But, I am still judging things and looking around some. I am not really considering other schools. Just those two.”
Lucas has not set up any official visits.
“I have not set up any official visits, and I don’t know for sure when I will. I will make a final decision between Colorado and Kansas State. I have until January, so I will think about it as long as I need.”
