"I liked it very much," defensive end Mike Macellari said when asked about his official visit to Purdue. "There's a real family atmosphere there with the team and coaches. Everything stems from that."

"It's still down to Purdue and Stanford. I won't decide till I visit Stanford. That will be sometime in December."
Macellari, a 6-foot-6 and 245 pounder from South Bend (Ind.) Clay, has scholarship offers from both Purdue and Stanford. Macellari is the Rivals100.com number 46 strongside defensive end prospect.
