Is Catapano close to getting more offers
Fullback Mike Catapano holds three offers from Temple, Army and Hofstra. The Bayville (N.Y.) Chaminade prospect is hearing from numerous other schools who are at least considering offering.
"The schools talking to me are Boston College, Syracuse, Virginia, Rutgers and some from the Ivy League like Princeton and Yale," he said. "All of them say I'm high on their list. They just want to see my first three games since I wasn't able to get up to camps."

Catapano confirmed he has been to plenty of the schools showing interest already and has no plans for visits in the near future due to a busy football schedule.
Do any schools lead for his services?
"Right now I'm really keeping my options open," he said. "Whoever offers I'll go and visit and see how the game atmosphere is and take everything in. I haven't narrowed it down so far.
"For the most part, I'm looking for a good balance of academics and football. If I go Division I, I want a good academic school with a legitimate record. The Ivy League schools are definitely a consideration too."
