Is Carufel down to five schools
It looks like a battle between five schools for St. Paul (Minn.) Cretin-Derham offensive lineman Matt Carufel, though Carufel does mention some other schools.
"I have 15 (scholarship) offers now," Carufel said. "I haven't narrowed it down all the way yet.

"I'm not looking at anyone that hasn't offered.
"I have offers from Florida, Miami, Notre Dame, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Michigan, Michigan State, Washington, LSU. I can't think of the other offers right now.
"I have a visit set up to Notre Dame Oct. 15 when they play USC. I don't know if I'll take all five visits or not.
"My top five is Notre Dame, Iowa, Florida, Minnesota, and Miami. I don't have a favorite."
The 6-foot-5 and 280-pound Carufel is the No. 1 prospect in the state of Minnesota in the Rivals.com player rankings. He is the country's No. 4 offensive guard prospect.
