Is Arkansas CB nearing second offer

North Little Rock, Ark. cornerback Jamar Love doesn’t seem to be receiving as much love as some of the other elite defensive backs in the South, but perhaps he should be. He has already picked up one SEC offer and could be closing in one from Big 12 country.
“Right now the only major offer I have is still Arkansas,” Love said. “I am hearing a lot from some other schools though. I would say that Ole Miss and Oklahoma State are probably the two schools that are recruiting me the hardest outside of Arkansas.”

Love measured in at 6-foot and 186 pounds at the Texas A&M NIKE camp and runs the 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds. He ran the shuttle in 4.73 seconds at the camp, has a 29-inch vertical jump and did seven reps on the bench press.
“I went to the Arkansas-Texas game a couple of weeks ago and that was a lot of fun,” Love said. “I was pulling for Arkansas to win, but it was still a great game. The crowd was really into that game. I am not going to their game against Alabama this weekend. The next Arkansas game that I know for sure I will be at is the LSU game which is in Little Rock this year.”
As a junior he racked up 68 tackles and four interceptions. He is ranked as the No. 32 cornerback in the nation and the No. 5 player in Arkansas by Rivals.com.
“Right now my favorites are Arkansas, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, Memphis and Nebraska,” Love said. “I would say that Arkansas and Oklahoma State are probably my top two right now. I think that Oklahoma State could be close to offering. They sent me tickets to the Oklahoma-Oklahoma State game and I want to go over there and check it out and see what they have going on.”
