Is anything new with MDs Dorsey

Little has been heard from Forestville, Md. wide receiver Kevin Dorsey since he gave a commitment to the Terrapins last July. Rivals.com caught up with the 6-foot-0, 174-pounder to see what's been going on and how he played last season.
"I'm committed to Maryland still," he said. "The biggest thing about them was from talking to coach Friedgen. He really gets to know his players, not just as players, but as people too. Now I'm just getting myself ready to make the team and eventually help them win the ACC championship and progress to a national title."

Meanwhile, other schools have dropped off the map for Dorsey.
"A lot of the other schools that were recruiting me have now backed off. Before I committed, I had offers from Connecticut and Marshall."
The Rivals250 to watch member helped Forestville to an 8-4 season last year.
"It wasn't a good compared to the year before when we went to the championship game," he stated. "I did well catching 30 receptions for 1,025 yards and 13 touchdowns. I also had four interceptions. I accomplished my goal of getting over 1,000 yards, but I didn't want just that. I wanted a championship and to leave with a ring on my finger. We'll have to fight this year to get that one."
Dorsey has no plans for visits in the near future, but he is looking to attend the Maryland summer camp.
