Is Adams Committed To UNC
Sources close to North Carolina told us that Fork Union (Va.) Military defensive end/tight end Gaines Adams had committed to North Carolina. Heck, it was even in a couple of newspapers although no quotes actually said it was a done deal. The truth is, it’s not a done deal just yet.
“North Carolina has always been number one, but he hasn’t committed yet,” said Adams’ father of his 6-foot-6, 240-pound son. “We were just there this past weekend and they’re his favorite by far, but he’s not sure if he’s going to take other visits.”

Adams has offers from Clemson, Michigan State, Virginia, Virginia Tech as well as UNC.
“I don’t think Gaines signed out of high school with anyone to my knowledge,” his father said. “But there’s no doubt that he’s always loved North Carolina. But it’s not a done deal yet.”
