Irizarry commitment may not be final

"Ohio State hasn't talked to me," tight end Louis Irizarry said. "They've respected my commitment to Miami."

"But my mom called them to see how things are. She talked to coach Tressel."
"Miami got a junior college tight end. I won't jump to any conclusions. But I've thought about it some. I'm going to ask coach Coker about it."
"I want to see if that changes their plans for me. I think the junior college tight end has already started school. They have six tight ends on scholarship now."
"We'll see. It could change some things."
"I'm pretty sure if I changed again it would be back to Ohio State."
"Miami's offense might be a better fit for me, but if there's not a good chance to play early then I definitely have to look into it again."
"My parents like Ohio State, but they're pretty supportive of anything I do. If I would go that far away (Miami), they want to make sure everything is perfect."
The 6-foot-5 and 235 pounder from Youngstown (Ohio) Ursuline caught 35 passes for 789 yards during his senior season. Irizarry scored nine times.
