Irish to get visit from Georgia OT

Credit new Notre Dame coach Charlie Weis for getting after it early. The Irish head man has been making the rounds on the phone and working several of the Irish's top recruits. This includes Dallas (Ga.) East Paulding three-star offensive tackle Paul Duncan.
"I like him," Duncan, ranked as the nation's No. 25 tackle, said. "I feel like he can get the job done. He has the experience from the NFL, and we talked about the plan they have for turning things around. I liked what I heard."

Duncan said he's penciled in an official visit to Notre Dame for January 7. He's also eliminated one of the schools from his list – Oklahoma.
"Coach Stoops was scheduled to come in home this week," Duncan said. "I called Oklahoma today and told him to save the trip. Oklahoma just does feel like me."
LSU, Duke and UCLA are the other teams on Duncan's list, however, Notre Dame has always been his leader.
