Irish offer a no go
Arlington (Texas) Grace Prep two-star running back Justin Forestt had been hoping and hoping to hear from Notre Dame about a potential scholarship offer. The final word came down earlier this week and it wasn’t good news for the 5-foot-8, 175-pounder.
“Notre Dame isn’t going to offer,” Forestt’s father, Rodney, said. “It looks like they have a few guys that were higher on the board that they felt better about.”
Forestt still is getting interest from Texas Tech and UConn. He visited UConn back on December 5 and the Huskies have been on top of his list since then. Could a commitment be coming soon? Stay tuned.
