Irish move in on Rivals100 DE

Butler, Pa. defensive end Tyrell Sales listed Pitt and Penn State as his two favorites the last time we caught up with the Rivals100 star. Has Notre Dame moved into the mix?
"Tyrell just visited Notre Dame and had a great time," said Butler head coach Garry Cathell. "He said he loved the coaches and the school. He's still undecided about what he wants to do, now more than ever, so I don't think he'll be an early commitment."

Sales had been toying with the idea of committing to a school this summer to focus on his senior season. However, it might take longer than he originally thought.
"Notre Dame was his last informal visit," said his coach. "He was hoping to narrow things down to five schools by the end of June and possibly make a decision, but now I'm not sure what he'll do."
In addition to Pitt, Penn State and Notre Dame, Sales is interested in Virginia and Ohio State as well. Florida State and Virginia Tech are also in the mix for the 6-foot-4, 225-pounder.
"Honestly, he hasn't ruled out any of the 24 schools that have offered him," his coach explained. "That's what we were going to do following Notre Dame, but that might take longer now."
Sales, who had 100 tackles and seven sacks as a junior, has offers from all of his favorites. He was recently ranked as the No. 6 player in the state of Pennsylvania.
