Irish latest to offer NC wideout
Offers are coming fast and furious for one North Carolina wide receiver. The Fighting Irish are the latest scholarship for the 6-foot-1, 185-pounder.
"Things are definitely picking up for him," Charlotte (N.C.) Christian head coach Jason Estep said of wide receiver Matthias Farley. "Notre Dame offered him last week. He's added offers recently from Maryland, Illinois and North Carolina as well."

What does Farley think about the latest offers?
"Obviously Notre Dame is huge," he said. "He's never been to the state of Indiana before. It's a bit of a challenge to get up there, but he'll be headed there in the next two to three weeks.
"He's very humble about it. To think he's only been playing football for a year now. Now, all of a sudden a program with tradition like Notre Dame comes in. He's excited and nervous a bit I think. It's a great experience, but he's going to go through the whole process and find the right fit."
Farley's last trip was to NC State weeks ago for their junior day. He currently has no other visits scheduled at this time.
