Irish back in the mix for Ogundeko

Another unexpected twist in the recruitment of Ebenezer Ogundeko. It sounds like Notre Dame is back in the fold and could challenge for a spot in the list of top schools for the linebacker from Brooklyn (N.Y.) Thomas Jefferson.
"I talked to the coaches earlier and they said the wanted to continue recruiting me and that I should take a visit up there."

The four-star linebacker has set up visits to Florida and Ole Miss for the next two weekends and he wants to visit Syracuse. When would Ogundeko find the time to make it to South Bend?
"I'm probably going to take an official visit up there but I'm not sure when," said the 6-foot-3, 227-pound Ogundeko. "With Florida and Ole Miss, I want to see if they really want me and to see what they can offer me."
Ogundeko has said Florida is his leader and Arizona State, Clemson and Ole Miss are his top four schools. Ogundeko has had connections with Syracuse for a while and it looks like they have an outside shot. What kind of chance do the Fighting Irish have with Ogundeko?
"They will be up there in my top schools depending on how they recruit me," he explained. "I see myself as a hybrid type player for Notre Dame, rushing the passer and dropping back in coverage."
This season, Ogundeko recorded 16 sacks and 84 tackles but Thomas Jefferson lost in playoffs.
