Irish add offer to Moores pile

Midwest City (Okla.) defensive back LaRon Moore wasn't sure he was going to get the kind of attention some of the nation's elite prospects get each year, but it appears that is exactly what is happening already in the summer months.
The latest offer was a big one coming from Notre Dame and the 5-foot-9, 179-pound Oklahoma prospect had always heard one might be coming from the Irish but had yet to see anything on paper. That has changed now.

"I'm not the kind of person that likes to talk about offers that I don't have in writing," Moore said. "Back in April I talked to them and they said one was coming, then they called in May and said the same thing but nothing came."
"Then I was just going to call them this week and while I was in the process of dialing their number the offer papers came in the mail."
Notre Dame now joins the likes of Iowa State, Stanford, Kansas, Nebraska, and Oklahoma State. LSU and Oklahoma could be the next two to offer the talented young prospect soon.
However, the constant offers aren't pushing anything for Moore.
"I don't really have a top five right now," Moore said. "To be honest, I don't really have any favorites either. I mean I like LSU, I like Kansas a lot, I'm interested in Stanford and Nebraska too."
His decision will unlikely be an early one.
"I'm thinking after the football season right now," he said. "I'm not sure where I'll visit but I'm thinking about a couple like Stanford."
Moore is rated the No. 5 overall prospect in the state of Oklahoma.
