Ippolito focused on senior year

Cody Ippolito only has an offer from Northern Illinois but the Scottsdale (Ariz.) Chaparral inside linebacker said he isn't worried about recruiting at all yet and is solely focused on winning another state championship.
That doesn't mean Ippolito, a 5-foot-11, 221-pound prospect, isn't trying to get noticed since he's been to two NIKE camps, will be at the Seattle NIKE Camp and camped at Arizona but he's not too worried about his recruitment or how many offers he has right now.

"I'm just focused on high school right now," Ippolito said. "I'm focused on winning another state championship for the three-peat and then I'll worry about picking a college after that."
Arizona, Arizona State and Washington are the three other programs showing interest in Ippolito, who finished with 64 tackles and one sack in his junior season.
With four-star Texas quarterback commit Connor Brewer and four-star wide receiver Davonte Neal on his team, Ippolitio said it helps get him more exposure and that should continue into his senior year.
"It's a big help because when coaches come to look at other people, we have Davonte Neal so a lot of college coaches come to look at him, so it gives me an opportunity to stand out as well," Ippolito said.
Northern Illinois is being considered by Ippolito but since he's not ready to focus on recruiting yet the Arizona prospect said no team is leading for his services at this point.
He will deal with his senior season of football, see where things stand and then go into his decision-making mode.
"(The Northern Illinois coaches) just like my style of play and how I've been talking to them," Ippolito said.
"They needed a linebacker and stuff and thought it was a good fit. I'm not really considering anybody yet. I'm not even thinking about it. I'm still thinking about high school."
