Iowa State scores in Metroplex again
Dallas Jesuit three-star offensive guard Reggie Stephens was torn between Iowa State, Kansas State and Miami of Ohio, but in the end he had to follow his heart. And his heart pushed him toward the state of Iowa.
And the Iowa State Cyclones.

Stephens, ranked as the nation's No. 55 offensive guard, said he committed to the Cyclones right after Christmas. Stephens visited Iowa State back on December 3, and then he visited K-State and Miami. It looks like the first impression was the best one.
"I felt like Iowa State was the right fit for me," Stephens said. "I liked the coaches, players and I know that it's a program on the right track. I went ahead and committed like I planned."
Stephens has become an even better player as a senior.
"I've really improved my ability to get downfield and get to the linebacker level," he said. "That's a big key if you want to be a very good offensive lineman. You have to be able to get to that next level."
Baylor, Utah and UTEP had also offered him.
