Iowa State gets involved with Scoggins

Two-star tight end Jordan Scoggins has his visit schedule all lined up before he makes his final decision.
Scoggins, the 6-foot-2, 257-pounder from Euless (Texas) Trinity is set to visit North Texas this weekend (Jan. 12), followed by a trip to Central Arkansas (Jan. 19) and then will finish things up with a visit to Iowa State on Jan. 26.

"It's going pretty good," Scoggins said about recruiting. "I've got those trips set up. Iowa State hasn't offered yet, but I'm hoping they will."
Scoggins said that should the Cyclones offer, they could receive a commitment.
"I don't want to say I have a favorite, but I think it'd be really cool to play in the Big 12," Scoggins said. "Iowa State also wants me at a tight end and everybody else wants me at defensive tackle. I prefer to play tight end."
So when does Scoggins plan to decide? He's playing it by ear.
"It will just be when it happens," he said. "I don't really have any idea."
