Iowa RB prospect names favorites

Cedar Rapids, Iowa state ranked running back prospect Travis Rhone (5-foot-11, 171 pounds) has been hearing the talk around town this summer that Washington High School looks to have a down season in 2004, and that's been plenty of motivation for Rhone and his teammates.
“A lot of people in town have been saying that we will be down this year," Travis Rhone said. “I hope they keep saying that, because it's been great motivation for myself and my teammates. We graduated a lot of linemen from last year, and our team is really motivated to prove all of those people wrong this fall."

Rhone talked about his recruiting progress this summer.
"Things are about the same recruiting-wise. I camped this summer at Iowa and Iowa State, and I thought things went pretty well. I've been staying in touch with the coaches this summer at both Iowa and Iowa State, and they told me that as long as I keep my grades up this fall, they will definitely check out my senior tape this fall."
Rhone also has a few favorites entering his senior season.
"I went to the Nike Camp at Ohio State, and I definitely like the Buckeyes a lot. I also like Iowa and Iowa State as well. Indiana is also another school that I'm interested in this summer, and they have been sending me some hand-written letters this summer. My Top 4 schools for now would be Iowa, Iowa State, Indiana and Ohio State."
