Iowa OL ready for the camp circuit

Marion, Iowa offensive tackle prospect Andy Kuempel (6-foot-7, 250 pounds) is most likely sitting in a class room finishing up his final exams as you read this. Kuempel also will begin his football testing this afternoon as well.
“I'm finishing up my finals today so that I can get a start on the summer camps," Andy Kuempel said. "As soon as I'm done with my exams, I'm heading straight for the University of Kansas summer camp. I also received a call on Monday from Kansas State."

Kuempel, who during the May evaluation period received 7-8 calls from various college coaches, knows full well that his finals from a football standpoint start today at Kansas. "I can't complain at all about my May, I was able to get some good information on some schools, and I also had some good talks with the coaches. I realized awhile back that several schools want to see me up close this summer. I played maybe two full games at tackle last year, so I can't blame the colleges for wanting to take a closer look."
Kuempel is planning to camp at Kansas, Kansas State, Iowa and Iowa State this summer, and added that, "I might also add a few more 1-day camps as well, and I'm trying to see how those can fit into my schedule."
