Iowa OL ready for NIKE camp

Ankeny, Iowa offensive lineman Matt Hulbert has received one phone call from a college coach this week, but he hasn't been home a lot to catch the phone if it rings.
"Things are going good really," the 6-foot-7, 270-pound Hulbert said. "It's been busy with track practice and meets and traveling to see schools.

"I was at the Kansas State spring game last weekend. I got to see the school and how their program looks. I'm looking at tehm, Kansas, Iowa State and Oklahoma. Coach ( ) Blaney from Kansas called earlier this week. He's the only one I've been able to speak to so far."
While the list currently sits at four schools, only one of them has extended a scholarship offer.
"Kansas has offered me a scholarship," he said. "That came in March. That's the only one so far. The others have just been sending me mail with information about their school."
Hulbert will make the trek back to Manhattan, Kan. this weekend.
"I'll be at the NIKE camp this weekend in Manhattan. I'm looking forward to the camp and seeing what types of things they are teaching us. It should be a good event."
