Iowa OL prospects talks ND visit

Laporte City, Iowa offensive line prospect Matt Pipho (6-foot-7, 255 pounds) was one of several prospects at last Saturday's Notre Dame junior day, and Pipho came away impressed with the Fighting Irish.

“I went to the Notre Dame junior day last Saturday," Matt Pipho said. “Basically it was what everyone tells you about Notre Dame, from the facilities to the stadium and the players and the coaches, it was all very impressive."

"I was able to talk to the coaches at Notre Dame, and they all seem like very good coaches and good people as well. The coaches told me that they are going to be recruiting me and that they will be stopping out to my school later this spring."

Pipho, who has been getting hand-written mail from several schools this spring, also has a very good idea of his late spring and summer plans. "I'm planning on attending the Nike Training Camp in Iowa City, Iowa in May. I'm also planning on going to one-day camps at both Notre Dame and Michigan this summer."
