Iowa leads for McCoy

Yet another scholarship offer has entered the picture for Dallas (Texas) Woodrow Wilson cornerback Greg McCoy.
The 5-foot-10, 175-pounder received another offer and this time from the Big Ten. Iowa became the next school to offer the sleeper prospect and they look to be the new leader.

"It came a while ago," McCoy said. "I haven't been able to check my mail, but I think Arkansas may be offering soon too. I'll know when I get my mail.
"Iowa is on top though. They stay in touch with me a lot, that's one thing. They seem like a team that has a great offense from what I've seen. I watched some things on television about Iowa and it was pretty good. That looks like a place I could go."
McCoy also took a quick trip to SMU not too long ago and that seemed to go well.
"That was great," McCoy said about the trip to SMU. "I'm still looking to make some more visits though. I'm supposed to be going to Iowa on Aug. 19. I've still got to set that date for sure."
Is another Big 12 team going to get involved as well? It appears the Sooners have turned up the heat with mail.
"Yeah, they send quite a bit," McCoy said. "They're on my list."
