Iowa LB talks about his latest offer

Bettendorf, IA. inside linebacker prospect Pat Angerer (6-foot-1, 215 pounds) has wrapped up one of his two spring sports, and Angerer has also landed his second scholarship offer from Northern Illinois University.
“I finished my track season, and on Friday we are playing in the state quarterfinals in soccer," Pat Angerer said. “I would love to finish my junior year with a state title, and I can also see the light at the end of the tunnel with school ending soon."

Angerer on Monday received his second scholarship offer from Northern Illinois University. "I received an offer from Northern Illinois on Monday. I'm really excited about landing an offer from the Huskies. I was really impressed with the coaches at NIU when I visited them a few weeks back for a junior day event. They are planning on some new renovations to the facilities, which is exciting. I also like the defense that they play, it's an attack 4-3 defense and that's the same defense we play at my school."
Angerer, who estimates that he received 6-7 calls from college coaches during the May evaluation period, talked about his month of May. "I really had no real expectations about my recruiting during the month of May. I was involved with two sports this spring, so I didn't have all kinds of time to really give it a lot of thought. I'm really happy about the two offers that I have and I think things went better than I expected in May."
Had any other schools made a last minute push for Pat Angerer? "My coach received calls from both Miami (Fla.) and Florida State requesting tape last week, so that was interesting."
Angerer is set with his summer camp plans. "I'm camping at Penn State, Iowa, Wisconsin and Iowa State this summer."
Pat Angerer has scholarship offers from Iowa State and Northern Illinois.
