Iowa LB continues to draw interest

Bettendorf, IA. inside linebacker prospect Pat Angerer (6-foot-1, 215 pounds) has been keeping plenty busy this spring. Angerer, who already has an early football scholarship offer from Iowa State has been juggling two varsity sports this spring.

“I'm staying pretty busy this spring," Pat Angerer said. “I'm finishing up indoor track and we are getting ready for the outdoor track season, plus I'm also playing soccer this spring as well."

Angerer has also been getting plenty of mail and recruiting interest. "I already have an offer from Iowa State, and they send me hand-written mail all the time. I'm also getting mail from Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan State, Penn State and Nebraska as well. Penn State has also started to send me a few hand-written letters."

Angerer has also been invited to several spring games and practices. "I've gotten invites from Missouri, Iowa and Iowa State to check out a practice, but I just have too much going on at that time to be able to get out to see any practices."

Does Pat Angerer have any early favorites? "I'm pretty excited about getting an early offer from Iowa State, and I'm definitely going to give them serious consideration. Overall it's still really early for me to have any favorites at this point, and I'm pretty open to any school right now."
