Virginia Beach (Va.) Ocean Lakes cornerback T.J. Cowart is starting to pick up interest. The 5-foot-9, 175-pounder holds an offer from the MAC and is garnering interest from a few other programs too.
"I've got an offer from Ohio," he said. "Nobody else is really talking about offers right now.
"I am hearing from ECU, South Carolina, Richmond and a few others. They are just basically saying they are interested and to keep waiting."
Already this summer, the Commonwealth prospect has been to Virginia for camp.
"I went to a seven-on-seven with my team there," he said. "It was a good experience. I'm thinking about going to JMU for a camp later this summer too."
Without any favorites, what does Cowart want in a school?
"I'm just looking for a good coach that can tell me what to do," he said. "I'd like to be in a good program and academic wise I want a solid school too. I'm looking at going into sports business. For location, I'd rather go out of Virginia if I can."
