Interest rising for QB Cochran

Casey Cochran, one of the top quarterbacks in the Northeast, still has a verbal offer from Boston College and it seems as though interest from other schools is rising.
The 6-foot-1, 207-pound quarterback from Monroe (Conn.) Masuk recently visited Boston College, Harvard and Yale, and each of those trips went well.

Cochran has been to Boston College several times now so he knew what to expect before the trip.
"That was a couple of weeks ago," Cochran recalled. "I went up there because I hadn't met coach Rogers, the offensive coordinator. It was great to meet himand see the new offense they're running.
"It was a lot of pro-style, which I like. There was a lot of under center play action. That's good because I'm a pro-style quarterback."
BC is the only school that has offered Cochran thus far. In spite of that, Cochran said the Eagles haven't tried to pressure him into making an early decision. They're sending him mail each week and letting him know that he's still a priority.
Cochran's trips to Harvard and Yale gave him an opportunity to meet with the coaches at those schools and get a feel for life at Ivy League schools.
What's coming up on the horizon?
"Right now I'm headed up to Penn State for the Elite 11 tomorrow and then Saturday I'll be going to Rutgers for a junior day and the spring game."
