Interest rises for Virginia OT

Interest is rising for Vienna (Va.) Oakton offensive tackle Nick Koutris. The 6-foot-6, 250-pounder hasn't pulled in an offer, but has lots of interest and summer camp plans.
"Recruiting is going very good," he said. "I have gotten a lot of letters and invited to a bunch of camps.

"I have seen coaches from Duke, Virginia, Wake Forest, Northwestern, Temple, Richmond and Old Dominion come by the school. I'm hoping to get some offers this summer."
Koutris plans to go to a number of camps to potentially earn a scholarship.
"I'm planning to go to camps at Duke, Wake Forest, Virginia, Old Dominion, Richmond and Temple."
With interest picking up, does Koutris like anybody?
"I really like Duke and Virginia," he said. "Their locker rooms and staffs are great. The schools were really nice too."
The Commonwealth lineman went on about what he's looking for in a college.
"I guess I'm looking for a school with good academics that will set me up for a good job when I get out," he stated. "I'm also looking to stay within about six hours of home."
Koutris earned honorable mention all-district as a junior and boasts an impressive 3.5 GPA.
