Interest rises for Kefalas

Interest is rising for Richmond (Va.) Mills E. Godwin offensive tackle Ted Kefalas. The 6-foot-6, 255-pounder is garnering interest from a handful of colleges across the country.
"Right now it's mostly North Carolina, Duke, Stanford, Army, Rutgers, Penn, Maryland, Elon and Delaware," he stated. "I went up to Duke in September and I'm actually going back for their spring game."

Kefalas has ties to one of the in-state schools.
"My dad went to Virginia and so I've always been a fan of them. I haven't heard from Virginia though, but I think I may camp this year."
Kefalas went on and discussed what is important in a school.
"For me, it's definitely getting financial aid, that'll be a big factor," he stated. "Second, is the academics. Right now I'm thinking accounting, pre-law or pre-med. Third for me is playing time."
Kefalas helped Godwin to a 5-5 record as a junior last season.
"I felt I played pretty well. This was my first year starting on varsity and it was a little tough coming in, but as the season went on I got better."
