Interest rises for Hester

Richmond (Va.) Varina cornerback T.K. Hester is starting to see his recruiting pick up. The 5-foot-11, 178-pound prospect continues to hold two offers, but more schools are coming in.
"Recruiting has picked up," he said. "I visited Morgan State this past weekend and I've started to hear from Purdue some and I sent information to Florida State. They were impressed with my senior film.

"Coach Cavanaugh from Virginia Tech made it to my game on Friday too."
Hester currently holds offers from Temple and Buffalo.
"The other schools are basically still trying to get to know me and then we'll go from there."
The two-star prospect has had a big season as Varina is still undefeated.
"I had a great game last week, on Monday I had six tackles and a forced fumble," he said. "Then on three days rest, I had five tackles and an interception return on Friday.
"I have 33 tackles, two interceptions and both have been returned for touchdowns."
