Interest rises at Linganore

Offers are rising at Frederick (Md.) Linganore for the 2010 recruiting class. Currently two prospects, athlete Zach Zwinak and offensive tackle Robby Havenstein claim scholarships, but the school has even more talent. What's the latest with Richard Conner's team?
"A lot of colleges have come in," he said. "For Robby, he picked up his latest offers from Virginia, Rutgers and Wake Forest.

"He did go to Virginia a couple weeks ago and had a good time. Rob wants to go out West this summer. Nebraska really likes him and he's thinking about going out there for a day."
What about Rivals250 athlete Zwinak?
"He has 15 offers now," Conner said. "His latest are Wake Forest, Syracuse, NC State and Kansas State. Virginia has offered, but we haven't seen it on paper.
"Right now he's working out training for next year. He does plan to be at the Nike Camp at Penn State Saturday.
"We're still putting our summer plans togther, but Zach wants to visit Notre Dame."
Meanwhile, there are a few other prospects that are also getting interest.
"Wide receiver Ryan Dixon is picking up his recruitment. He recently ran a 4.42 at one combine. People are a little more interested now and want him to come to camps.
"He recently went to a Temple junior day and Central Michigan is very interested too. Rutgers, Syracuse and Duke are looking at his tape and want to see him at camp. Kansas State likes him too.
"This summer he's looking at Temple camp for sure and then Rutgers and Duke."
One other prospect getting some Division I interest so far is cornerback Nick Marth.
"He's getting looks from Temple, Towson and James Madison."
Currently Conner claims his players have no favorites.
"They are all pretty open-minded," he said. "They haven't gone through narrowing the process. They are enjoying this now and will probably start narrowing things in a bit to keep it manageable."
